§ 18-134. Standards for subdivision proposals.

  • (a)

    All subdivision proposals shall have public utilities and facilities such as sewer, gas, electrical, and water systems located and constructed to minimize flood damage. An access road at or above the base flood elevation shall be provided to allow emergency access during flood conditions.

    (b)

    All subdivision proposals shall have adequate drainage provided to reduce exposure to flood hazards.

    (c)

    Base flood elevation data shall be provided for subdivision proposals and other proposed development which is greater than the lesser of five lots or five acres. Development of detailed floodway data will be required should the applicant wish to appeal the setback requirements of section 18-133(1).
