§ 24-21. Officers—Filling of vacancies; meetings.

The board provided for in section 24-20 shall annually elect a chairman, vice-chairman, secretary, treasurer, and such other officers as it deems necessary. Expired terms and vacancies on the library board shall be filled by appointment by the County Council. The board shall meet not less than four times each year and at other times as called by the chairman or upon the written request of a majority of the members.
