§ 24-80. Creation; terms; filling of vacancies; members to serve without compensation.

There is hereby created the "Sumter Court Library Commission," consisting of three members who shall be appointed by the County Council upon recommendation of the county bar association from its active members in good standing. Each member shall serve for a term of two years and until a member's successor is appointed and qualified. Vacancies shall be filled in the manner of the original appointments for unexpired portions of terms only. Commissioners shall serve without pay.
