§ 2-25. Vice-chairman.

At the initial meeting of the council in January following each general election, after the County Council has elected its chairman, the council shall select one of its members to serve as vice-chairman for a two-year term, and if the chairman shall be absent or unable to serve, the vice-chairman shall serve as chairman in his stead.
