§ 2-194. Superior county constable may be assigned.

  • The County Administrator may appoint one or more constables with supervisory authority over one or more other county constables and may specify titles and ranks for county constables commensurate with their duties and any supervisory responsibilities of that constable. Such ranks and titles shall be held at the pleasure of the County Administrator and may be revoked, changed or amended from time to time as the County Administrator, in his sole discretion, deems to be in the best interest of the county. County constables shall comply with all lawful orders of any superior county constable appointed over them.
