§ 8-212. Definitions.

  • The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this article, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:

    County means that area comprising the county other than municipality.

    Mobile home means a structure, transportable in one or more sections which, in the traveling mode, is eight body feet or more in width or 40 body feet or more in length or, when erected on site, is 320 or more square feet an which is build on a permanent chassis and designed to be used as a abandoned mobile home with or without a permanent foundation when connected to the required utilities and includes the plumbing, heating, air conditioning and electrical system contained therein.

    Owner means the holder of the title to the mobile home and every lien holder of record.

    Parties in interest means all individuals, association, a corporation, and other who have an interest of record in a abandoned mobile home and any who are in possession thereof.

    Person shall mean any individual, firm, partnership or corporation.

    Public officer means the officer or officers who are designated by the County Administrator to exercise the powers prescribed by this article.

    Reasonable costs means 50 percent or less of estimated costs or required repairs, alterations, and/or improvements in relation to the estimated value of a abandoned mobile home.
